[雑談]レフシステムは奥深い
CSL Syntax summaryを見てて、いろいろ細かい規定があるんだなあと。昔はこんなことあまり気にしていなかったんですけど、各Journalによって、refereceとはどうあるべきか？みたいなのが見え隠れして面白いです（だって、mustとかshould表現が多いんだもん）。例えば、
References
Authors should use the Harvard system. References should be indicated in the text by surname of the author(s) with the year of publication as shown below. References to more than one publication by an author in the same year should be distinguished with lower-case letters, e.g. (Creed 1990a,b). The abbreviated author and date reference should be placed in parentheses unless the name forms part of the text, e.g. Willmer (1982) has demonstrated that …. If no person is named as author, the name of the appropriate body should be used, e.g. (Genetical Society 1977). Unpublished studies and personal communications should be referred to in the text only, using the author’s initials and surname. When there are more than two authors, use the first author followed by et al.. The full list of references should be typed in alphabetical order, double-spaced at the end of the article, in the form of the following examples. Journal titles should be in full, not abbreviated.
• Gray IC (1991) Polymorphic tandemly repeated sequences in human DNA. PhD thesis, University of Leicester.

Where there are six or more authors only the first three should be listed, followed by et al.

References.
References must be in PNAS style. Only published or in-press papers and books may be cited in the reference list. Unpublished abstracts of papers presented at meetings are not permitted. References should be cited in numerical order as they appear in text. Because tables and figures will be inserted in the text where first cited, references in these sections should be numbered accordingly. Manuscripts must include the full title for each cited article. Authors must translate foreign language titles into English, with a notation of the original language. All authors (unless there are more than five) should be named in the citation. If there are more than five, list the first author’s name followed by et al. Provide inclusive page ranges for journal articles and book chapters. Databases are cited in the text or as footnotes.
The corresponding author must be prepared to provide a signed authorization for the citation of unpublished data and personal communications.

各雑誌によって、本文中と本文の最後にあるものとではそのスタイルが別々に規定されているようです。
PNASは本文中に出てきた引用をnumericalにlist-upすべしと指示していますが、Molecular Ecologyはそういうことは指示していません。
私はM.E.のレファレンススタイルが何気にすっきりしているんじゃないのと思っていたんですけど、Zoteroデフォルトのレファレンススタイルで引用リストをエクスポートして、手動で編集していたんです。なんともはや。
Harvard System
ここで、私が聞いたことがない単語”Harvard System”が登場しています。
やばいです、これはもうひとつの研究ですね。さらに、
いろいろありんす。本当にorz。対応OS,プラットフォーム、エクスポートスタイルなどなど比較表がすばらしい。
スタイルジェネレーター
話がそれましたが、ZoteroでCitation-styleを作るときにどうしようかなと思って、Emacsにnxml-modeなるものをインストールしたんですが、結構大変です。そこで、GUIベースで出来ないかなあと思って、調べるとこんなものがありました。
ちなみに、Citation Options：にあるものはZoteroでいうと、
numberedがclass=”note”、author-likeがclass=”in-text”です。
試してみましたが、ある程度、整形して吐き出してくれるのでとてもいい感じです。しかし、詳細は実際のものを見てやらないとわからないことが多いですね。Molecular Ecologyでは、authorはfamily-nameとそれ以外の部分にdelimiter(,)があるだけでミドルとラストの間はdelimitされていません。ジャーナル名はItalicですし、巻号のフォントはboldです。あと、論文と本の引用例が挙げられていますが、それ以外の引用はできるのかどうかよくわかりません。
人の言葉を引用する場合
調べている途中にこんなものもありました。
誰それの発言をまとめたものらしいのですが、すごいです。
apple社のSteve Jobs氏の発言は名言ぞろいらしいのですが、こんなかんじでまとめられています。
最後に
リスト化はZoteroでして、そのリストデータをEndnoteに取り込み、希望のCitation-styleで吐き出す方法がいいのかも。
EndnoteがzoteroみたいにWeb上で簡単に引用登録が出きるならいいですね。
あと、他の人のレファレンスリストなども共有できたら。
Reference Systemでgoogle検索すると、他にもいろいろヒットして面白いなあ。とても数時間では調べ足りないよ。
